These replacement brushes have lasted and lasted for ages, though, so are a good buy... Maybe better than the originals? Hint: check on a regular basis to make sure hair and debris isn't caught around the brushes making them less efficient. I use nail scissors to cut it away... iRobot Roomba's Virtual Walls
The virtual wall function creates an invisible barrier so that the iRoomba cannot go across it and these walls can be set to block a section that goes as much as 5 meters long.
The beam is keyhole shaped and it creates a small halo which will stop the Roomba from hitting a wall and a bigger cone-shaped section then stops the iRobot from going into areas that you don't want it to.
